Today’s Haiku (January 22, 2020)

鴛鴦に月のひかりのかぶさり来  阿波野青畝

oshidori nit tsuki no hikari no kabusari ku

            mandarin ducks

            the moonlight comes

            and covers them

Fay’s Note:   Seiho Awano (1899-1992)  ‘oshidori’ (mandarin duck) is a winter kigo.
