みづうみのふくらむひかり青き踏む   鍵和田秞子

mizuumi no fukuramu hikari aoki fumu

lake light balloons…

I step on

green grass

Fay’s Note:  ‘aoki fumu’ (stepping on blue (in Japanese ‘blue’ uses for ‘green’ sometimes)) is a spring kigo.  It was ancient tradition imported from China to enjoy the spring green grass.
