Today’s Haiku (February 18, 2017)

手袋も絵本も凍星も齧る      神野紗希

tebukuro mo ehon mo iteboshi mo kajiru

she nibbles at

gloves, a picture book

and a frozen star

Fay’s Note:   Since Japanese original doesn’t have a subject, ‘she’ in translation can be ‘he.’

    I was tempted to use ‘my baby,’ which is not in the original.
