旅人に雨の黄あやめ毛越寺  高野素十

tabibito ni ame no kiayame môetsuji

              yellow irises in the rain

              for a  traveler…

Fay’s Note:  Moetsu Temple is in Hiraizumi, Iwate.   With Chusonji Temple, it was a center of Tohoku during the period when the Fujiwara clan governed the area.
