業平の墓もたづねて桜狩  高野素十

narihira no haka mo tazunete sakuragari

              of Narihira, too…

Fay’s Note:  Suju Takano (1893-1976)

Narihira (Ariwara No Narihira) is a 9th century waka poet.  He was one of the thirty-six major poets of the Heian period.
