父に子に明日への希ひ蓮の実とぶ   加藤楸邨

chichi ni ko ni asu e no negai hasu no mi tobu

father and his child

have hopes for tomorrow

 lotus seeds pop

Fay’s Note:  Shuson Kato (1905-1993)    ‘hasu no mi tobu’ (a lotus seed pops) is an autumn kigo.
