Today’s Haiku (June 20, 2015)

わが夏帽どこまで転べども故郷  寺山修司

waga natsubô dokomade korobedomo kokyô

            my summer hat

            wherever it rolls down

            still the home country

Fay’s Note:  To complete 10 haiku dedication to my haiku friend Kazuya, who passed away on May 10, 2015, I decided to translate a haiku by Shuji Terayama (1935-1983), Kazuya’s most favorite poet.
