神の旅通せん坊する神もゐて   有馬朗人

kami no tabi tôsembo suru kami mo ite

            traveling gods…

            some god blocks

            others’ way

Fay’s Note:  ‘kami no tabi’ (god’s travel) is a winter kigo.   It was believed that all the gods in Japan (more than 8 millions of them) gathered at the Izumo Shrine in Shimane in November for their annual conference.
