Today’s Haiku (November 1, 2010)

俳諧はほとんどことばすこし虚子  筑紫磐井

haikai wa hotondo kotoba sukoshi kyoshi

haiku is

mostly words

and a bit of Kyoshi

Fay’s Note:  Kyoshi Takahama (1874-1959) dominated the haiku world in Japan with his group “Hototogisu” (Cuckoo) .
